Share

Olympic champion and three-time world titlist Lin Dan finally won the Asian Games men's singles badminton gold medal

Lin, nicknamed Super Dan by Chinese fans, defeated world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia to take the only international honor that he has missed.

"I am happy to win the gold medal," said the 27-year-old Lin. "This is a long-time dream come true. But I will fight on in the future and continue to work hard."
