Foreign Party Leaders Congratulate CPC on 17th National Congress 
 

Leaders of a number of friendly parties in the world have sent congratulatory messages to the Communist Party of China on the occasion of the convening of its 17th National Congress.

The following is a list of these leaders Xinhua obtained Monday from the CPC Central Committee's International Department:

Mizuho Fukushima, leader of the Social Democratic Party of Japan;

Park Sang-Cheon, chairman of the Democratic Party of the Republic of Korea;

Debabrata Biswas, general secretary of the All India Forward Bloc;

Asfandyar Wali Khan, president of the Awami National Party of Pakistan;

Hasanul Haq Inu, president of Jatio Samajtantrik Dal of Bangladesh;

Manzurul Ahsan Khan, president of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, and the party's general secretary, Mujahidul Islam Selim;

Fabio Amato, head of International Relations Department of the Communist Refoundation Party of Italy;

Amir Zukic, general secretary of the Party of Democratic Actionof Bosnia and Herzegovina;

Landing Savane, general secretary of the African Party for Democracy and Socialism of Senegal;

Jorge Quiroga, former Bolivian president and national leader of the Social Democratic Power of Bolivia;

Ignacio Mendoza Pizarro, first secretary of the Communist Party of Bolivia, and the party's international secretary, Marcos Domich;

Jose Albornoz, general secretary of the Motherland for All of Venezuela;

Leonel Cota Montano, chairman of the Party of the Democratic Revolution of Mexico;

Lucio Gutierrez, chairman of the January 21 Patriotic Society Party and former president of Ecuador;

Jun Chisaka, secretary general of the Japan Peace Committee;

Mourad Ghaleb, president of the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization, and the organization's secretary-general, Nouri Abdul Razzak Hussain.
