According to the Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, this year's entry exhibits mainly come from Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, France, Germany, South Korea, Spain, and Belgium, involving food, clothing, gardening tools, household items, wooden handicrafts, tourism brochures, cars, yachts and other kinds of commodities.
Eleven exhibitors from Thailand are bringing nearly 50 kinds of snacks, such as durian cakes, durian crisps and other pastries and crackers. There will be more than 10 kinds of unique flavors such as Thai fragrant sauce and other flavoring additives, as well as Thai-style clothing, spices and wood Buddhist altars, plates, boxes, bowls, chopsticks, and pots. At present, Thailand has fully cleared customs.
The exhibits from Taiwan and Hong Kong are very distinctive. Four Taiwan-made touring cars worth 160,000 dollars will be one of the high points of the fair this year. The exhibits of Hong Kong have a strong local flavor, such as the famous Pat Chun vinegar, soy sauce and eight treasures in hot sauce.
