Hotel Award

Legendale Hotel Beijing which is invested by the Macao Legend Development Ltd. Co. has been awarded the Best Luxury Hotel of the Year 2012 at the China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards by Travel Weekly and Events magazines.

Since it successfully received heads of states from 22 countries and sports ministers of 34 countries, providing their accommodation and dining needs during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Legendale Hotel Beijing has always been committed to fostering the International Communication Platform for promoting the Chinese and Western culture, and building the bridge for people from all over the world.

The China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards are carried out annually since 2002 for identifying some of the most outstanding properties in China.

The five-star Legendale Hotel Beijing is located on Beijing's famous Jinbao Street. The hotel is surrounded by some of Beijing's best preserved hutong alleyways. A numberof China's most significant landmarks and historical sites are within walking distance of the hotel, including Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the Drum and Bell Towers.

Hi-Tech Expo

The 15th China Beijing International Hi-Tech Expo is being held in Beijing on May 22-27. With the theme Innovation to Strengthen the Real Economy, the expo this year highlighted independent innovation, emerging strategic industries and regional opening up and cooperation.

The Marine Science and Technology Exhibition sponsored by the State Oceanic Administration makes its first appearance in the expo, displaying marine science and technology achievements China has made in the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-10) period, such as deep-water detectors, robots, the research vessel Xuelong and the new-generation offshore platform.

More than 50 delegates from five international organizations and 20 countries and regions participate in the expo. All China's provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and more than 2,000 Chinese companies are taking part in the expo.
