Iron Brothers, a documentary on the new dimensions in the China-Pakistan friendship under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Belt and Road Initiative, was screened at an event in Beijing on September 5.

The documentary focuses on the increasingly closer economic, political and cultural bonds between China and Pakistan through the narratives of ordinary Chinese and Pakistanis studying and doing business in each other’s country.

“It records the time-honored friendship between Pakistan and China, and highlights these shared values and the tangible benefits of our increasingly wide-ranging collaboration through CPEC and the Belt and Road Initiative," Naghmana Alamgir Hashmi, Pakistani Ambassador to China, said.

The event was organized by the Pakistan-China Media Friendship Association and the Daily Mail, an English-language daily in Pakistan.

Makhdoom Babar, Chairman of the association and President and Editor in Chief of the Daily Mail, said the documentary was supported by many media organizations when it was shot, and thanked media professionals for their efforts in facilitating bilateral media exchanges and enhancing China-Pakistan relations.
