BUSINESS Food for Thought is a story about recent culinary fads in China and how popularity doesn’t always lead to success. Examples include innovative egg pancakes that led to investment and many locations, but eventually led to unhappy customers and store closures, as well as a sirloin steak chain whose fortunes rose and fell in just a few years that began with prized sirloin steak recipes from a Hong Kong master chef.
