An event hosted in Beijing gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the Olympic Winter Games and try their (virtual) glove at a variety of icy sports. From December 14 to 30, 2021, the public got to indulge in various exhibits and activities at the China Millennium Monument. The demonstration area featured Winter Olympics pins and badges, snow sports products plus collections in Chinese ice and snow culture. Their grouping vividly told the history of the Winter Olympics and the development of China's winter traditions. Inside the exploration zone, people could have a go at speed skating or alpine skiing using VR equipment, allowing them to experience the sports as if they were hitting the physical slopes. Other Winter Olympics-themed games, including desktop curling and jigsaw puzzles, too, proved a hit with visitors.
