The working group of "China Book International"(CBI) will hold the 2nd CBI Advisory Board Conference in Beijing on September 2.

This conference is one of the major activities at the 16th Beijing International Book Fair scheduled on September 3 to 7. Top executives from many foreign renowned publishers such as Penguin, Springer, HarperCollins, and Cambridge University Press will attend the conference and deliver speeches, seeing China's publishing industry from an international perspective, and giving advises and suggestions on promoting Chinese books abroad.

Established in 2007, the CBI Advisory Board was comprised of foreign experts who are senior professionals and authoritative experts in the international publishing circles. Through giving professional advices and useful suggestions, face-to-face discussions and communications, it is expected to explore in a more concentrate, deep and effective way and solve the problems in the process of the Chinese publications to go abroad, dispel doubts, misgivings and questions, therefore making a significant contribution to the practical process of the Chinese publications to go abroad.
