The Oman Pavilion (JENNIFER JETT)

The Oman Pavilion is a replica of a fort tower on the coast of Sohar, a major trading port that was once known as the "Gateway to China." The pavilion focuses on Oman's desert landscape, national costume, major cities, food products, and falaj system of water management. On the ceiling above a frankincense tree in the middle of the lower level is a painted model of the Dome of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Omani capital Muscat. A multilingual video display details where Oman falls in various world economic rankings.
