The First Young Political Leaders Forum of China and Central and Eastern European Countries was held in Beijing on October 23.

Wang Jiarui, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, addressed the forum's opening ceremony.

Around 100 young leaders from China and 13 Central and Eastern European countries attended the two-day forum, which was themed "From traditional friendships to closer cooperation."
