Dollar Down to 96 Yen Line in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar went down to the 96 yen line Friday morning in Tokyo.

The dollar traded at 96.07-12 yen at midday, compared with 97.34-44 yen in New York and 97.68-70 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Thursday.

The euro was quoted at 1.2782-2787 dollars and 122.85-90 yen, against 1.2931-2941 dollars and 125.95-126.05 yen in New York and 1.2819-2820 dollars and 125.22-26 yen in Tokyo late Thursday.
