China issued third generation (3G) telecom service licenses Wednesday as the country has completed a comprehensive reshuffle of the telecom industry starting last April.

Three 3G technological standards have received licenses, namely the domestically developed TD-SCDMA, Europe's WCDMA and North America's CDMA 2000, the Ministry of Information and Technology announced.
