While many in Shanghai and throughout China celebrate Christmas--a Western holiday which is becoming more and more popular in the country-- in brightly-decorated shopping malls and fancy restaurants, a group of students from the East China Normal University spent their Christmas Eve launching a blood donation campaign. Increasing numbers of Shanghai's citizens are becoming blood donors, helping to ease the blood shortage.
