Suspect Heng Tinghan (C), 42, one of the labor contractors of the illegal brick kilns, is caught and sent back to Shanxi Province on June 17. Police investigations revealed that Heng, a native of central Henan Province, had lured 31 rural laborers from railway stations in Zhengzhou in Henan, and and Yuncheng in Shanxi, with promise of employment. He then forced or tricked them into grueling labor in kilns, mines and foundries across Shanxi and neighboring Henan. (Xinhua)
