Share

Directors and cast attend a promotional activity for Love in Space in Hong Kong on February 22 (CRIENGLISH.COM)

The film Love in Space, the sequel to the romance comedy Hot Summer Days, will start production, as announced by co-directors Wing Shya and Tony Chan on February 22, Sina.com.cn reports.

The sequel is about the love stories of three sisters that take place in different countries. It carries an inspiring note that asks people to "take a chance on love."

Singer-actor Aaron Kwok, pop singer Eason Chan and actress Kwai Lun-Mei have joined the cast which features stars like Rene Liu, Angelababy and Jing Boran from the original movie.

Renowned actress Xu Fan, from the film Aftershock, will also star in the film.

Twentieth Century Fox International, Huayi Brothers and Sundream Motion Pictures join hands to collaborate on the sequel, which is believed to run well after the success of Hot Summer Days last year.

Film shooting will begin in Beijing on March 8.
