Angel Warrior Premieres in Beijing
Share

Chinese action film Angel Warrior staring mainland actor Yu Nan and Taiwan actor Collin Chou premiered on Monday in Beijing.

The film tells the story of five girls from the city, who go on a rural getaway surrounded by lush jungles and beautiful beaches.

But there's trouble in paradise when an excursion into the forest leads the five girls into a dangerous encounter with local criminals, who are endangering the surrounding ancient cultural relics. However, these aren't docile city girls who cower to danger; these vicious vixens decide to take action.

Collin Chou is famous for his portrayal of Seraph in the films The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions attended the premiere.

Talking about reasons why he joined the film, he said, "When first time I met director Fu Huyang, he told me about this story. It was so passionate. I can feel it. I can feel he wanted to tell the story about nowadays women travelling in a jungle. That kind of story and became a hero. Especially my role is like a Chinese rumbo. It made me very excited. So I decided I wanna be in the film."

The film will hit screens around China on November 1.
