Jackie Chan to Hit Romania for Chinese Film Days Festival
Share

Hong Kong action legend Jackie Chan will hit Romania in September to open the Chinese Film Days festival.

Hosted in the country's capital of Bucharest, Chinese Film Days begins on September 11 and runs through to the 18. The festival will kick off with Chan's 2012 action comedy, CZ12.

Other Chinese titles slated to screen during the eight-day event include director Wong Kar-Wai's The Grandmaster, Chen Sicheng's Beijing Love Story, and Zhang Yang's Full Circle.

The festival is a joint initiative by China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and Romania's Cinematography Center. The event aims to promote China's cultural products to new markets.
