Documentary on Anti-Japanese War to Debut in 2015
Share

A 365-episode historical documentary on the Chinese anti-Japanese war will be screened on TV starting on January 1 next year, according to an announcement by the State Archives Bureau (SAB) Wednesday.

The documentary is co-produced by the SAB and China Radio International. Each episode of the documentary will be five minutes long, and the films will be updated each day throughout the year.

The films follow a chronological order and attempt to reproduce the historical events and figures of the war, the SAB said.

All episodes are faithfully based on true stories documented in video footage, audio tapes and paper files, 70 percent of which will be revealed to the public for the first time.

The documentary will be broadcast on TV and made available online.
