Gold medallist: Elnur Mammadli
Sport: Judo -- Men's 73kg

Azerbaijan's Elnur Mammadli took just 13 seconds to seal his country's first-ever judo medal with gold in the men's 73kg category against Wang Kichun.

Mammadli pinned the South Korean's legs for an ippon score and automatic victory, avenging his defeat to Wang in the world championship final last year.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the award ceremony, giving flowers to the athletes and congratulating them.

Mammadli, together with his two compatriot medallists in wrestling, was on board the presidential aircraft to return to his home country along with the President.
