Venus Williams and Serena Williams won the tennis women's doubles gold medal by beating Virginia Ruano Pascual and Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain at the Beijing Olympic Games on Sunday.

The bronze medal went to Zheng Jie and Yan Zi of China.
