The Gibbon Family
The Hainan Gibbon parents and their newborn baby in the forest of south China Hainan Province, the only habitat the gibbon still survives in, in this photo taken on January 13, 2007. The Hainan Gibbon is one of the most threatened species of primate in the world, with only 15 individuals, including the newborn, still known to exist in the wild, in Bawangling National Nature Reserve Area.
