Local authorities ordered all schools and kindergartens in Shipai Town to suspend classes on June 23-29 after the country's first cluster of local

A/H1N1 influenza cases was found at Shipai Town Central Primary School. A total of 37 students from the school had contracted the virus as of June 21.

The ministries of health and education have released a program to prevent any further outbreaks in schools nationwide, including measures such as regular body temperature tests.

China had reported 570 cases of A/H1N1 flu as of 6 p.m. on June 25.
