Chinese President Hu Jintao is on his way to attending a private dinner hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama in Washington on January 18.

President Hu paid a state visit to the United States on January 18-21. His trip included talks with President Obama, a state dinner in Washington, meeting with U.S. representatives from all walks of life, and a visit to the midwestern city of Chicago.

The leaders of the two countries agreed to boost their bilateral relationship further, and to take positive steps to increase exchanges between the two nations.
