Visitors appreciate a statue of former Chinese leader Mao Zedong at the National Museum of China in Beijing on December 24, where Mao's calligraphy works and contemporary artists' sculptures and paintings of him are currently on exhibition.

December 26, 2013, marks the 120th anniversary of Mao's birth. People across the country are participating in the commemoration of the great founder of the People's Republic of China.
