A gathering marking the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover to China and the inauguration of the third-term government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held on July 1. Chinese President Hu Jintao attended the gathering and said Hong Kong's success over the past 10 years shows that Hong Kong people are fully capable of managing Hong Kong well and sustaining its growth.
