In 2010, cement output by industrial enterprises above the designated size totaled 2.19 million tons, an increase of 15.4 percent; total power generation increased 9.7 percent to 2.42 billion kilowatt hours; the total output of beer numbered 133,300 tons, a growth of 17.9 percent; that of Chinese traditional medicine (Tibetan medicine) totaled 1,249 tons, a decrease of 8.5 percent; that of tap water added up to 117.78 million tons, a growth of 8.3 percent; and that of bottled drinking water stood at 84,100 tons, rising 27.7 percent; and that of chrome ores stood at 140,100 tons, up 12.5 percent.

In 2010, the added value of the construction sector was 12.42 billion yuan, posting a year-on-year growth rate of 14.4 percent.

IV. Investment in Fixed Assets

Investment in fixed assets in 2010 was 46.33 billion yuan, an increase of 22.1 percent over the previous year. Of this total, investment from the private sector rose 10.8 percent to 11.8 billion yuan.

Analyzed by different industries, investment in the primary industry was 2.37 billion yuan, a growth of 0.6 percent from a year ago; that in the secondary industry grew 45.9 percent to 13.42 billion yuan; and that in the tertiary industry gained 15.7 percent to 30.53 billion yuan.
