Share

A media center for the upcoming 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will go into operation on Thursday for both domestic and overseas press.

The media center, based in the Beijing Media Center Hotel, will handle credentials and applications for foreign journalists and correspondents from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, as well as Taiwan.

The center will also arrange coverage for activities related to the congress and provide necessary information and technical services.

In a meeting held on September 28, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee proposed convening the 18th CPC National Congress on November 8 in Beijing.
