Government to Guarantee Smooth Traffic during Two Sessions
Share

The Security Department for the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) will work together with the Beijing Traffic Management Department to guarantee smooth traffic during the upcoming political sessions.

Accommodations for NPC deputies and CPPCC delegates are scattered at some 30 locations around Beijing. Officials say travel routes to meeting sites will be re-directed to avoid heavily congested areas. More police will be dispatched to direct traffic during the sessions. Traffic information and control measures will be broadcast to the public regularly. The government will also release instructions to drivers at that time.
