Models on display include the L-15 advanced jet trainer and an unmanned combat areial vehicle, the Wing Loong. The jet was co-designed by China and Pakistan and attracted more than 100 orders in the last two years.

On the civilian aircraft side, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China announced its plan to assemble its first C919 aircraft this year and has so far received more than 400 orders.

The Singapore Airshow is Asia's largest and attracted nearly 140,000 visitors over the six-day show this year.
