Share

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan have met with U.S. first lady Michelle Obama on March 22 in Beijing.

Xi said Sino-U.S. relations are vital to both nations and the world. The younger generation of the two countries should enhance exchanges in education and culture, in order to deepen understanding and friendship.

Michelle said she encouraged her daughters and U.S. youngsters to come to China to study. She said youth exchanges are crucial to bilateral relations, and hoped to have more opportunities to visit China in the future.
