Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao promised here Wednesday the government will try to ensure all employees in the country to have annual paid vacations.

"We will institute a system of annual paid vacations for employees," said Wen in his report on government work to the First Session of the 11th National People's Congress that began here Wednesday morning.
