The Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) 2026, held from June 17 to 21 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, attracted 300,000 visitors and 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions.

Founded in 1986, the BIBF has evolved from a biennial to an annual event and is now the world’s second largest book fair. This year’s fair showcased 220,000 titles, held over 1,000 cultural activities, and secured 2,835 copyright deals between Chinese and international publishers, with social sciences, children’s and sci-tech books taking the top three spots.
