China's economy has seen its share of highs and lows over the last five years, along with impact from the global financial crisis. However, the Central Government's macro-control policies and the transformation of China's economic development pattern have allowed the country to achieve all of the goals listed in its 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-2010), and realize steady and rapid development. The country will expect even more growth and prosperity in the next five years.
