December: Ma Xiaotian Attends Defense Talks at the Pentagon

Ma Xiaotian, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army, co-chairs the 11th round of China-U.S. defense consultations with U.S. Undersecretary of Defense Michele Flournoy at the Pentagon on December 10. The two sides agreed that U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates would visit China in January 2011.
