China's Top Political Advisor Meets Pakistani PM

Top political advisor Jia Qinglin has met with visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

They held in-depth exchanges on bilateral relations as well as important international and regional issues.

Gilani said a whole range of activities have been scheduled to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of formal diplomatic ties between the two countries.

He added both countries will work closer to upgrade defense, economic and cultural ties. During Gilani's visit, the two sides signed three cooperative documents on economic and technical cooperation.
