"Experience China" events will be held in the Nigerian capital Abuja and the Kenyan capital Nairobi from September 10 to 29 in order to expand cultural exchanges between China and Nigeria and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of China's diplomatic relations with Kenya.

A library with books donated by China will be opened in Abuja. Media representatives from both China and Nigeria will meet and discuss the media's role in promoting cooperation between the two countries. Chinese documentaries will be broadcasted by the Nigerian Television Authority. In addition, Nigeria's biggest private newspaper This Day will publish a special China edition in September.

A variety show featuring Chinese acrobatics and a media forum will be held in Nairobi. Chinese documentaries will be also broadcasted by the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.

These "Experience China" events are organized by China's State Council Information Office. They are important platforms to spread Chinese culture to the African continent.
