U.S. Kerry Meets Arab Leaders in Paris on Syria Issue
Share

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in Paris holding a news conference with member officials from the Arab League to seek support for its policy in Syria, media said Sunday.

U.S. will consider France's stance that France "strongly supports" intervention in Syria upon the alleged use of chemical weapons but wants to wait for a report by United Nations weapons experts before taking action, Kerry was quoted as saying.

U.S. did not rule out the possibility of returning to the United Nations (UN) to secure a resolution on Syria once UN inspectors complete their report, Kerry said, adding that U.S. President Barack Obama had yet to make a decision on the issue.
