Last Words from Cockpit: 'Goodnight Malaysian 370'

Malaysian authorities have issued a new version of the last conversation from the cockpit of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. Malaysia's Transport Ministry said in a statement, that the last words between air traffic control and the cockpit were "Good night Malaysian three seven zero", not "all right, Good night" as reported earlier.

It said the conversation was made at 1:19 a.m. on March 8, and that a forensic investigation will determine whether the pilot or co-pilot spoke the words. Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has instructed the investigating team to release the full transcript of the conversation at the next families briefing.

Malaysian authorities had already told the victims' families in Beijing on March 15, about the correct version of the last words, but the information hasn't been effectively released to the public.
