Huicheng Fruit Corporate, which specializes in apple planting and innovation in Yangling of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has targeted Kazakhstan of Central Asia as its base abroad in near future.
Yan Xiaoqin, executive director of Huicheng Fruit Corporate, told Beijing Review that China's apple exports are very competitive in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, which is demonstrating strong interest in introducing China's agricultural technology to the country.
"We have reached a business agreement with our partners in Kazakhstan to establish an apple orchard in the country. Chinese companies will help refine their apple cultivation and break new ground in agricultural cooperation between China and Kazakhstan," Yan said.
Yangling is famous for leading the pack in agricultural high-tech industries, and stands as China's only agricultural hi-tech demonstration zone. Situated in Xianyang City of Shaanxi Province, Yangling hopes to drive agriculture growth in Central Asian countries with its innovative technology, promoting common development and mutual benefit for all countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
