Wow, have we got an issue for you this month! In the last issue we stayed in South Africa but in this issue we take you to magical and far-flung places in Africa. Enter stage left, first on our itinerary is one of my all-time favorite countries in the world, Mozambique.

We enter a paradise island called the Island Resort off the coast of Vilanculos, in the Vilanculos District of Inhambane Province. The resort has an unpretentious island feel but one is immediately aware of five-star service, facilities and luxury. This visceral feeling here is unparalleled and I felt strangely untouched by the world so far, far away and completely alone under that shiny, big black open sky with all its twinkles - and completely relaxed. Its paradise found, for sure.

But if its excitement - and golf - you want, you can't go wrong with the country of Uganda. This East African landlocked country boasts some of the largest, most spectacular lakes in Africa and the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa is just the place for a spot of golf, sailing, fishing, shopping in Kampala, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary or just relaxing in the Spa. Truly an amazing place is Uganda.

Back in South Africa and this time the Pilansberg. It is a mere hop skip and a jump from Johannesburg and boasts the Big-5 wildlife. If you are pressed for time on your holiday, the Pilansberg is a sure - fire hit.

And last but not least, we take you on an epic journey to one of the most spectacular lodges in Africa, Mhondoro Private Lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, also only about a 3-hour drive outside of Johannesburg. Luxury, pampering and some of the best food in the world are the order of the day here as well as superb game viewing and star gazing.
