In 2019, the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security announced two batches of new jobs, including artificial intelligence engineers, intelligent manufacturing technicians and industrial Internet technicians.
With more scientific and technological innovation, more new jobs will emerge in the digital economy, intelligent manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. New jobs will help curb economic fluctuations and keep employment stable. Therefore, the government should roll out preferential policies to encourage people to participate in Internet Plus industries and training should be offered to prepare them for the new jobs.
The new pattern has changed the employment landscape. Thus, policies should be continuously improved and regulations rolled out to safeguard the interests of both employees and employers.
