Carrying out learning and education campaigns among all Party members is an important means for and tradition of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in its promotion of self-reform. 

Throughout the past century in China, the CPC, in light of changes in the situation and requirements of the times, has executed intra-Party learning and education programs of various forms, addressing salient problems in thought, organization and conduct. These campaigns help improve the Party's ability to innovate, power to unite and energy to fight, as well as better enable the Party to accomplish its historic mission. 

Currently, more than 96 million Party members are participating in the education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
