Hello and welcome to the 15th issues of Beijing Review. Cover design by Cui Xiaodong COVER STORY Brand New Start highlights China's new national-level development zone–Xiongan New Area–located about 100 km southwest of central Beijing, whose establishment is a major historic and strategic decision that will help drive the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated development initiative. NATION Treatment at a Tap looks at a mobile app that makes access to health services more convenient by enabling elderly people to arrange routine nursing care at home. This makes patients’ lives more comfortable, relieves the burden on hospitals and allows nurses to put their skills to greater use. CULTURE Behind the Scenes is on an exhibition entitled A History of the World in 100 Objects, which is hosted by the National Museum of China in Beijing from March to May. It uses historical artifacts to illustrate the similarities, connections and mutual influence between different cultures and societies throughout the course of human evolution.
