On the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum of International Cooperation, a seminar themed "Communication, Cooperation and Common Development" was co-hosted by China's Mission to ASEAN, BEIJING REVIEW, and the Pangoal Institution on May 15 in Beijing, adding an extra dimension to the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative. The seminar focused on the importance of ASEAN in the new world development vision and how the regional bloc could contribute to it.
AKP Mochtan, Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN, Li Yafang, President of BEIJING REVIEW, and Yu Hongjun, Honorary President of the Academic Committee of the Pangoal Institution, addressed the seminar.
After the seminar, AKP Mochtan talked to Beijing Review reporter Li Nan on the Belt and Road Initiative and China-ASEAN ties.
