The Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, taking place in Beijing on April 25-27, has attracted more than 1,600 overseas journalists.
Beijing Review interviewed some of them on their views on the Belt and Road Initiative. Times of Oman reporter Khaled Orabi said that the initiative is important not only to China but also to the world. The China-Oman Industrial Park in Duqm, for instance, is a testament to thriving business ties within the Belt and Road framework. Somali National TV reporter Adam Ali, for his part, said he hopes that the initiative can help scale up cooperation between China and Somalia.
