The China Horticulture Exhibition Area, located to the south of the China Pavilion, was one of the most popular exhibitions at the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing that concluded on October 9. The 25-hectare area featured 34 outdoor gardens characteristic of different regions across the country. To reflect distinct local horticultural characteristics, the construction materials and plants of many of the gardens were transported to the capital from various localities. With the Beijing expo over, the park will serve as an educational center for ecological development and a tourist destination.
