The arrival of spring has seen myriads of flowers bloom and created a riot of colors in Beijing. They are a visual treat for the people who have started venturing outside with life getting back to normal. Though the novel coronavirus disease has come under control in China, park visitors have retained their facemasks and disposable gloves to stay safe and keep others safe.

With the number of visitors to many parks in the capital increasing significantly since late February, the city authorities have strengthened prevention and control measures. It means controlling the number of visitors so that there is no crowding, by reducing the entries to 30-40 percent of what they were in the same period in the previous years.
