On October 24, 2018, Zhuhai City in south China's Guangdong Province caught the attention of the world with the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The bridge has shortened trip time between Zhuhai and Macao and Hong Kong special administrative regions and made travel much more convenient among the three places. It has also made Zhuhai a more popular tourist destination.

The city has optimized its industry structure with a modern industrial system, a smart system and tourism. As part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Zhuhai has put great efforts into communication and coordination with other cities in the region.
