Returning to Normal

Daily life has begun to recover in Wuhan in Hubei Province, central China, the Chinese city hardest hit by the novel coronavirus outbreak. Local authorities announced on March 24 that outbound travel restrictions would be lifted from April 8 after over two months of lockdown. On March 26, no new infections were reported in Hubei.

Bus routes are being restarted in Wuhan and commercial outlets are reopening. As enterprises resume production, an increasing number of workers are returning, with identification and health checks in place to ensure a safe and orderly flow of people.
