A fresh bout of spring snow blanketed the hills lining the western suburbs of Beijing on March 1. The Summer Palace and the Beijing Botanical Gardens are two popular destinations to take in some breathtaking views when snow hits the city. The scenery, usually known as Sunny Western Hills After Snow, is one of the most renowned sights in the ancient capital.
